Gary closed this chapter in his life to join our mother, Jewell Swan to be welcomed by her on 7-28-2018 as her first beloved child. He was predeceased by his wife Sylvia “Carmen” Vanderfleet and mother Jewell Swan. He is survived by his sister Kathy Swan and her husband, George Morrison whom he resided with the last 6 years. Also survived by life long friends William “Bill” Tatgenhorst, Nicholas “Nick” Sciurba both of Tampa and Howard Yaeple of Naperville, IL and special friends Theresa Kelly of Plant City and Gary Hammer of Zephyrhills. A celebration of life will take place at a later date with Gary’s blessings of his love for rock and roll music. Gary has left a most significant void in Kathy’s heart and will always be loved and cherished by her as a brother who always showed her his unwavering and ever endearing love for his “little” sister Kathy
