Joshua P. Starr of Wesley Chapel, Florida, passed away on Wednesday February 22, 2023.

Josh was born on May 2, 1979, to Debi and Phil Starr in Denver, Colorado. He attended Green Valley High School in Henderson, Nevada, and from there he went on to serve in the United States Air Force. After the Air Force, he continued a path of sales and financial advising. He was highly accomplished in his career, with his achievements including “Salesman of the Year” multiple times.

He was an avid outdoorsman, the life of the party, had a heart of gold, and lived his life to the fullest. He loved his son, his family, and getting into political debates. Josh was a force to be reckoned with, and he was highly protective of those he loved. He will be deeply missed.

Josh is survived by the love of his life, his son, Tristen; his mother Debi Starr Daniels and step-father Ken Daniels of Lake Wales; his father Phil Starr of Tavares; his brother Justin Starr (Samantha) of Wesley Chapel; his sister Joanna Rimes of Brandon; his nieces Alexa Rimes, Reagan Starr, and Addison Starr; his aunt Marianna Starr of Orlando; his uncle Jeff (Pat) Krause of Michigan; his aunt Cheryl (Jim) Davis of Michigan; uncle Rob Krause of Texas; and countless cousins and lifelong friends he considered family.
