, 45, formerly of Enfield, Connecticut, died on October 17, 2019 in Riverview, Florida as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born February 20, 1974 in Hartford, Connecticut to Leonard Shaw and Daphne Chenier Shaw. Growing up in Enfield, Anthony played hard and lived life to the fullest. He was an avid fisherman, and his love for the sea eventually drew him south to Florida where he lived during the last years of his life. Anthony was an incredible chef, and took tremendous pride in creating dramatic dishes with poetic flourish. He had a mischievous grin that could warm any chill, a laugh that could fill a room and an irreverence for the boundaries that constrain most of us. He was cherished by so many and will be deeply missed.
Anthony was predeceased by his mother, Daphne. He is survived by his father, Leonard Shaw of Mesquite, Texas; sister, Christine Shaw, and nephew, Grayson Shaw of Farmington, Connecticut; his dearest, first and best friend, Katy Rabbett Bartholomew of Enfield, Connecticut; the Shaws of Dallas, Texas; the Cheniers of Ontario and Quebec, Canada; and countless friends and loved ones throughout Connecticut, Florida and beyond.
