Robert Hollis Maxwell, of Dover, Florida, was born on March 7th, 1938 in Cairo, Ga, and passed away on May 27, 2022, at 84 years of age.

He was a Union Insulator for 25 years and Strawberry Farmer (Maxwell Farms), for 27 years.

Hollis enjoyed riding his golf cart and being outside working in his barn while listening to Bluegrass Music. 

He loved spending time with his family and friends. His life was a Blessing to each of us and his memory, a Treasure.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Leonard Leroy Maxwell, his mother, Janie Drucilla Maxwell, Norma Lee Spears.

Hollis is survived by his wife of 65 years, Gloria Maxwell, his son Donnie Maxwell (Barbara) of Dover, his daughters, Glenda Maxwell of Valrico and Paula Carter (Bill), of Plant City, sister, Mary Parker (Fulwood)

Five grandchildren, Crystal Maxwell, Lil’Donnie Maxwell, Christopher Carter, Austin Maxwell, Amanda Carter. Five great grandchildren, Jace, Lihanna, Zachariah, Naomi, and Bailey (Tater Bug).

He was loved by everyone who knew him, his smile lit up a room, his laughter contagious, his stories, entertaining, his LOVE, forever present.  He will be greatly missed.
