Gladys Maria LimHing, 91, passed away on October 23, 2023 of natural causes, surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Jamaica and graduated from Immaculate Conception High School. After immigrating with her family to the United States, Gladys worked at the University of Miami Law Library and later at the University of Tampa Library.
She worked enthusiastically until age 86. She is survived by her children Francis, Jennifer Schwartz (Joe), Andrea Calow and Sharon Bromberg-Lim (Sarah) and grandchildren Shane Calow and Krista LimHing (Bill). She was predeceased by her husband of seventy years, Herman, who passed away in 2022.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be a private cremation and memorial for immediate family.

I was privileged and honored to work with Gladys at the Unversity of Tampa. What a bright light she was! She will always be remembered.
