On Thursday, May 20, 2021, Kevin Lang, loving husband and father of two, passed away at the age of 51. Kevin was born on November 20, 1969 in the Bronx, New York. He was the proud son of Ann and Julio Rodriguez. On May 30, 1992, Kevin married the love of his life, Diana Lang. Together they raised two daughters, Jessica and Nichole Lang.

Kevin was the owner of JNL Contracting and had a true talent for building and creating. He loved his job, and was excited to go to work every day. He remodeled, repaired, and built countless homes in the Tampa Bay area, leaving his indelible mark on the community. His passion and dedication to his craft was unique and will be missed by many.

Kevin cherished every moment life had to offer; even the challenging ones. He danced his way through life, and encouraged others to be strong and joyful. He loved fishing, long drives down Bayshore, and family nights at Dairy Joy. He treasured, protected, and loved his family more than anything else.

There is peace, knowing Kevin is with the Lord, and reunited with his daughter Nichole Lang. He leaves behind friends, and family who love and miss him fiercely. He leaves behind a legacy of integrity, strength, and unconditional love.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at South Tampa Fellowship at 97 Biscayne Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.

Florida law states “A cremation may not be performed until a legally authorized person gives written authorization for such cremation,” (FS 497.607).  Furthermore, the law defines whom the “legally authorized person” is and sets up the order of priority of next of kin. We require a written authorization before scheduling any cremation or funeral services. The “Authorization for Cremation and Disposition” form must be signed by the next of kin in the following order: spouse, son or daughter (of legal age), parent, brother or sister, grandchild, grandparent.
