The Family of Michael Juanette, Springhill, FL is so very sad
to announce his passing on June 29, 2020. Michael born
May 22, 1941 in Port of Spain Trinidad, was beloved by family,
friends and colleagues all over the globe.

He is predeceased by his loving wife of 61 years, Cynthia
(1937 -2008), brother Joseph Juanette and sister Zarina
Juanette. Surviving are his son, Stephen Juanette, daughters
Joanne Lemuell (Jim) and Sheron Juanette Cavenaugh
(David); Granddaughter Katelyn Cavenaugh (Fiancé Kay Jay),
sister Judith Mohammad, brother Brian Juanette, and
numerous sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends who
were like family.

Michael was an expert in business development and
entrepreneurship. His work ethic was second to none. In
Trinidad he created and sold a successful garment
manufacturing company before bringing his family to the
United Stated in 1978.  In the United States he traveled and
consulted numerous companies worldwide. Until his passing
he was the chief consultant in the Labor Certification industry.

With all his brilliance in business and as a steadfast leader of
his family, his greatest gift was making everyone he met feel
valued and special.
His pride and joy were his children, and, in the end, they were
by his side as he took his last breath.

There is no gathering planned during this uncertain time,
but condolences or remembrances posted here or sent to

Our condolences to the family. We were friends and neighbours in Trinidad long time ago. So sorry to hear the news.

I met Mike as a 10-yr old – my neighbor in El Socorro. He became the brother I never had and, later on, my business mentor. He taught me the games of cricket and table tennis to the point of being selected by my college for college trials to go to England. I ran home every afternoon for my sports tutoring.

Mike encouraged my music career immensely while he guided me through my first two jobs which he found me.

Mike, thanks for a very good start to my life.
