Katrina Ann Baca, 63, of North Port, FL went home to her savior on 13 Oct. 2021.

Katrina was born on 19 Aug 1958 in Chilicothe, OH to the late Herbert Cecil Stapleton and survived by Joyce Cole Stapleton.

Katrina also resided in Colchester, CT and Waterbury, CT during her lifetime.  Her loving husband Michael Baca, son Matthew, daughter Karin, daughter-in-law Tiki Baca and beautiful granddaughters Myakka and Vanora Baca survive her.  Katrina is predeceased by her eldest sister Carrie Stapleton Colantuono and survived by her youngest sister Cindi Stapleton Grigson.

Katrina was an avid gardener, birdwatcher and crafter.  She will be thoroughly missed by her family.

Florida law states “A cremation may not be performed until a legally authorized person gives written authorization for such cremation,” (FS 497.607).  Furthermore, the law defines whom the “legally authorized person” is and sets up the order of priority of next of kin.
