Barbara J. Shrock, 86, of Three Rivers, Michigan passed away peacefully in her home on May 13, 2022. Barbara was born on October 8, 1935, to James Mains and Vera Brown; she was raised by her Mother Vera and John Danner as James passed away when she was just a young child. She is preceded in death by her mother, fathers and all 11 siblings as well as her beloved son Tommy. She is survived by her son Robert, and two daughters, Terry and Donna. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Chris, Barbara, Heather, Samantha, Megan, Melissa, Richard and Clifford. and multiple great grandchildren: Dr, Cassie, Cory, Mia, Lexi, Ayanna, Darian, Janiya, Sariya, Tony, Tiawon Jr., Tatiana, Tristan, Tyson and Richie.
Barbara held many jobs in her life ranging from Data entry operator in Civil defense, worked as a C.N.A in home care, cake baker and decorator (also certified teacher), cashier, greeter, ceramic business owner along with many others. Barbara’s hobbies included: Ceramic making and decorating, cake baking and decorating, crocheting, playing games, spending time with her grand and great grandchildren and at one point in her life she loved riding motorcycles. She loved using her hands to create the most amazing pieces of art. Barbara also was an amazing singer and had been part of many church choirs during her life time. Her greatest joy though were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved playing cards with anyone who was brave enough to play against her (she was a card shark, just saying). She loved Jesus more than anything and spent most of her life involved in a church type setting volunteering her talents that God gave her.
Although she is greatly missed by her family and friends, we know that she is in Heaven with all her loved ones who went before her.
Her celebration of life will be held July 23rd at Cremations of Greater Tampa Bay from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Refreshments will be served from 3:00-4:00 and the celebration from 4:00-5:00.
