(JR or Fester) , age 41, passed away peacefully in his place of residence on October 23, 2020. He was a dedicated lawn professional formerly of Indiana and Colorado but was currently living in Gibsonton, Florida. He received his GED and an associate’s degree in Janitorial Services. He was loved and cherished by all who knew him. He prided himself on his organizational skills and attention to detail in his work. He was a skillful artist and loved drawing pictures for his family and friends. He was an adored son, brother and uncle. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents (John and Phyllis Reed) and maternal grandmother (Bonnie Newman). He was also preceded in death by his father (John Nathan Reed Jr.). He is survived by his mother (Terry Pavcovich),  step-mother (Betty Hasty), two sisters (Vonda Blevins and Elizabeth Nichols), two brothers (Michael Reed and Daniel Guzman) as well as six nephews and four nieces and one great niece. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial services will be held in January 2021.

    Our hearts go out to the family we loved John an we miss him so much I wish we could of done something he was just such a good person an had a heart of gold he would do anything for anyone. Brian and I are here if you need us thank you for all you have done

Florida law states “A cremation may not be performed until a legally authorized person gives written authorization for such cremation,” (FS 497.607).  Furthermore, the law defines whom the “legally authorized person” is and sets up the order of priority of next of kin. We require a written authorization before scheduling any cremation or funeral services. The “Authorization for Cremation and Disposition” form must be signed by the next of kin in the following order: spouse, son or daughter (of legal age), parent, brother or sister, grandchild, grandparent.
