Lindsay Anne Moors, age 39, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at her home in Tampa, Florida, surrounded by her loving family. Lindsay, affectionately known to her loved ones as “Binzer/Binz”, was born on April 13, 1982, in Orillia, Ontario, Canada to John Moors and Julie (Higgins) Moors. A talented artist and designer, Lindsay was a 2008 graduate of IADT Tampa, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. She was a member of the Starbucks family for over a decade, creating close bonds with her fellow baristas and customers alike. In her free time Lindsay enjoyed baking unique cookies that were as beautiful as they were delicious, playing video, card, and board games with her niece and nephew, and listening to music old and new. An avid NASCAR fan, Lin enjoyed fixing race day appetizers to enjoy with a glass of wine. Her favorite place was the Moors family cottage in Gananoque, Ontario, Canada, where she spent countless summers with her immediate and extended family, climbing in her willow tree, swimming in the beautiful St. Lawrence River, singing around the campfire, fishing with her dad, sitting on the veranda watching the lighthouse blink, and floating down the “lazy river”. Lindsay had a big smile and a kind heart and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her parents, John and Julie of Tampa, Florida, older sister Kelly LaBlance (Ben) of Temple Terrace, Florida, younger sister Courtney Moors-Hornick (David) of Atlanta, Georgia, and her niece Madison and nephew Mason. A private family celebration of Lindsay’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in Lindsay’s honor to The American Cancer Society   https://www.cancer.org/
