Jose “Jae” Luis Garcia Jr., passed away on September 2ND, 2021, at Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace, Florida. He was born on August 17TH, 1971, in New York, New York to his parents, Elba Iris Rios and Jose Luis Garcia Sr. Jose later attended Carl Schurz High School in Chicago, Illinois. Jose was a man of many talents, he spent his days as a singer, songwriter, artist, dancer, sculptor, and creator. He was employed in the accounting industry.

He is preceded in death by his father and is survived by his loving family including his mother, Elba Garcia; sisters, Iris Cajigas, Lydia Garcia, and Linda Garcia; nieces, Daisy Rodriguez, Melinda Cajigas, Jenise Abreu, and Amina Donis; and nephews, Michael Cajigas, Josiah Coloma, Mason Cajigas, Yaziel Cajigas, and Yozeah Cajigas.

A viewing and visitation service to celebrate his life will be at held on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021, from 6PM to 8PM at Cremations of Greater Tampa Bay Funeral Home, located at 110 N. MacDill Avenue, Tampa, Florida with words from Pastor Tim Encinosa officiating.

Florida law states “A cremation may not be performed until a legally authorized person gives written authorization for such cremation,” (FS 497.607).  Furthermore, the law defines whom the “legally authorized person” is and sets up the order of priority of next of kin.
