Cremation Services in Tampa Bay
Cremations of Greater Tampa Bay offers six cremation and funeral services, starting at $975 for an all-inclusive direct cremation. You may choose only the items you want — nothing here is a bundle you cannot break apart. Every arrangement includes our basic services and overhead fee, which is already built into the package prices below and is never billed twice.
Certain legal requirements occasionally make a specific item necessary. When that happens we explain why, in writing, on the statement describing the goods and services you have selected.
Our Services
All-Inclusive Direct Cremation — $975
Our charge for a direct cremation includes the basic services of the funeral director and staff, a proportionate share of overhead costs, removal of remains, transportation to the crematory, refrigeration, an alternative container, the cremation process, all necessary authorizations and permits, the cremation container, notification to Social Security, and the medical examiner’s fee.
Note: cremation of an individual weighing 250–400 pounds adds $300. Over 400 pounds adds $400.

Cremation Memorial Service — $1,975
Includes everything in the Direct Cremation package, plus use of the chapel for two hours and:
- Registry book
- 50-photo memorial video
- Cherrywood urn
$200.00 per additional hour.
Viewing/Visitation Service with Cremation — $2,975
Includes everything in the Direct Cremation package and the Cremation Memorial Service, plus embalming, dressing, cosmetics, and a rental casket. $200.00 per additional hour.
Viewing/Visitation Service with Burial — $3,975
Includes everything in the previous packages, plus transfer from the funeral home or church to the cemetery. Does not include a casket. $200.00 per additional hour.
Cemetery charges — the plot, opening and closing the grave, and a vault or grave liner if required — are paid to the cemetery, not to us.
ID View and Witness Cremation
- ID View (regular): $500.00
- ID View (from the Medical Examiner): $600.00
- Witness Cremation with no ID View: $300.00
Note: cremation of an individual weighing 250–400 pounds adds $300. Over 400 pounds adds $400.
Ship Out / Removal from State — $3,000
Includes embalming, transportation, and a shipping container. Does not include airfare or a casket.
What These Prices Include
BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR, STAFF AND OVERHEAD: $450.00
Our services include conducting the arrangement conference; consulting with family; shelter of remains; preparing and filing necessary notices; obtaining necessary authorizations and permits; and coordinating with the crematory or other third parties. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead costs. This fee does not include any charges by newspapers or other publications for any requested notices
we place for you.

REFRIGERATION (IN LIEU OF EMBALMING) UP TO 14 DAYS: $100.00
Embalming is not required for direct cremations. It is our policy to require refrigeration of an unembalmed body in accordance with Florida State Statutes.
Refrigeration **After 14 days of Included Refrigeration**: $25.00 PER DAY
CREMATORY FEE: $300.00
TRANSPORTATION:
Transfer of remains from place of death to crematory (within 35-mile radius). Additional distance will be charged at $3.00 per mile. $250.00
Transfer of cremated remains from crematory to site for autopsy or other procedure and return to crematory (within 35-mile radius). Additional distance will be charged at $3.00 per mile. $350.00
