In Loving Memory of Kniertje Amanda Antonucci-Rog, loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend.
On Nov 22, 2019, Amanda passed away peacefully after a long time battle with an autoimmune disease. She was held in the arms of her two beautiful daughters Hayley and Meagan Antonucci, and surrounded by her loving family and closest friends.
Amanda was born in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, to her mother Karen M Rog-Ehler and father, Philip Rog. Before Amanda turned one, she and her family moved to the US and eventually settled in New Hampshire (NH). Amanda attended grade and high school in NH and graduated highschool in 1995 from Kingswood Regional High. After marrying and having two daughters, Amanda followed her parents to the Sunshine State.
Since then, Amanda committed many years to the healthcare field, serving with compassion and empathy. However, she was not without sarcasm and wit when needed. The last ten years, she worked for Lee Health Park in Ft Myers, FL, where she was loved by many as a loyal friend and trusted confidante. Her co-worker and good friend Molly has many of these memories to share.
Amanda was at her happiest when with her girls. She loved getting her nails done with Hayley and cheering at Meagan’s volleyball games. She was almost just as happy at home, snuggled up with her cats, crocheting her next project (usually for a friend). Meeting friends at local establishments and attending concerts were common, and she certainly enjoyed beach time. Eventually, rubbing it in that Florida was so much nicer than New England in the Winter. Most recent memorable moments on the beach were with her life-long friend Eliza who stood by her as a child and stood by her in the end.
Amanda’s, love, compassion for others, laughter and sarcasm will be deeply missed by many as her time on earth was way too short. Although we have shared our last sunset with Amanda, she will walk with us each sunrise in our hearts.
Amanda is predeceased in death by her mother Karen M Rog-Ehler, grandparents Nana Ehler and Oma and Opa Rog. Amanda leaves behind her beloved daughters Hayley and Meagan Antonucci, who are her whole world. She is survived by her father Philip Rog, siblings Richard Gendreau, Paula Gendreau, and her wife Shauna Snyder, Tanya Jordan, David Rog, and five nieces and nephews. In Holland, she is survived by her aunt Nel and Detlef Kruger, Wouter and Mieke Rog, and Kitty and Rien Eykelenboom.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date by her family and friends.

She was taken way before her time. She has two beautiful and talented daughters who loved her. They will miss her forever. Love you Hayley and Meagan.

God Bless you Hayley and Meagan. I knew your Mom from Lee Health while I was there a brief time and she was always talking about both of you. She was also happy when she was going to a school game or seeing one of you for an outing. If either one of you ever need anything, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Rest in peace, Amanda! Our thoughts go out to your daughters Hayley and Meagan, and from your father Philip for whom it is terrible to have to lose their mother and his daughter.

Dear Hayley and Meagan, we heard just about the tragic loss of your dear loved Mum Amanda, , your grandparents Karin and Philip were great friends of us (Frits and Maaike) , and also the earley passing away of your grandmother Karin was also a very sad, and terrible loss for your granddad and for all of you) , your grandmother looked often after our daughter Amanda,(when Philp and me were at sea towards greenland and newfoundland, thats one of the reasons Your Mum was named after our Amanda, because Karin was like second Mum to her, (often first Mum)
So Maaike and Me will wish you lots of strenght , and think of the wonderfull memories ,and that the time will soften your grief……
love from Maaike, Frits Amanda and Sylvia

Amanda was the very best friend I ever could have wished for. She was the most caring friend yet told you like it was, which we both needed from one another. Her time on earth was far too short, we still had so many things to do together. I love you forever, Amanda and you will live forever in my heart ❤️

Hayley and Meagan,
I am in shock as I have just learned of your Mom’s passing. Her Birthday came up on my FB and as I posted my wishes, I learned of her death.
My heart is so heavy with sadness for your loss.
I worked with your Mom many years ago at Havenwood in Concord N.H. We had a lot of great times. She was a fun, outgoing, spirited woman. We both shared stories daily of our children. She was a devoted Momma with so much love and pride for you girls. I am so glad I got to know her and work with her. My most sincere sympathies go out to you both. She will always be looking over you. Nothing can keep a Mom from doing that.
