George Andrew Allen, 69, of Tampa, FL, passed away on September 4, 2023. Born on November 19, 1953, in Tampa, FL Hillsborough County,
George was a beloved husband, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many as he knew no strangers.
George will be deeply missed by his loving spouse, Cynthia. He is survived by his nieces, Sharon Hamilton (William) and Christy Coady (Seth), his nephew Chad Allen (Anne), and his cousins Alan Lee, Delores Tomlinson, Marcia Sumiec, and Sandra Heerhold (Chuck).
George was preceded in death by his father, Robert Allen, his mother, Clara Allen, and his brothers, Robert Allen, and Frank Allen.
George dedicated 35 years of his life to his career at the Tampa Tribune, where he worked as a truck driver and a distribution center employee. He was known for his dedication and hard work throughout his time there.
