Paulette Adriani Adamo, 75, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away June 28, 2023. She was born in Macon, Georgia on September 26, 1947, as the only child of Paul Adriani of Baltimore, Maryland and Juanita Long of Macon, Georgia.

Paulette lived the majority of her adult life in Fitzgerald, Georgia, where she raised her three children. During this time, she took Accounting classes at Abraham Baldwin College and was promoted to Senior Management within three different manufacturing companies. She spent twenty-nine years in this career and led the accounting divisions in each company. Paulette was tenacious and driven which contributed greatly to her success. If asked, her employees would tell you she was a tough but fair boss. She was valued and respected by all and enjoyed her years of service until she retired in 2016.

Paulette loved all things Elvis and had an amazing eye for interior design and landscaping. She also cooked a mean lasagna and apple pie! She spent her retirement years at her beautiful home in Palm Coast on Long Creek River with her husband. She loved sitting on her patio watching all the wildlife that frequented her yard and waving to all the kayakers making their way down the river. She enjoyed neighborhood walks, taking her dog Pepper to the beach and visiting with friends and family. Many precious memories were made there. She was known and loved by many.

Paulette is survived by her loving husband Peter Adamo of Palm Coast, FL; her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Catherine Czaja of Albuquerque, NM; her daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Ted and Denise Nelson of Overland Park, KS; her daughter Nicole Czaja of Overland Park, KS; and her stepdaughter and son-in-law Gina and Wes Stapp of St. John’s, FL. She had 5 grandchildren: Reagan, Emily, Heidi, Cullen and Carson as well as four granddogs: Denali, Linus, Kookie and Baller.

A private family service will be held at the end of September.

Paulette was my friend the minute she moved to Overland Park. We had many talks and dinners together and I was looking forward to visiting her and Peter this fall. Although she had moved away, we kept in close contact since her move. I am deeply saddened for your family’s loss and the loss of my friend. I know that we have an angel in heaven that is watching over one of us.

Paulette’s passing will leave a huge whole in the hearts of family and friends. My condolences to Peter, Danny, Denise, Nicole and all of the family. They say people come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. Paulette was my lifetime friend, my high school best friend and my forever friend. We stayed in touch always. I drove to GA from Baltimore when she got married. Flew to Texas when she was pregnant with Danny and to Buffalo, NY when Denise was a newborn. We even got our divorces at the same time! I loved her and miss her in this world. She is in the arms of the angels. God Bless You All.
