Paul “Dave” Mundy passed away Friday, July 5th, 2024 in Tampa, FL at the age of 59. He will be dearly missed by his daughter, Gabriella, his mother, Connie Mundy, and countless family and friends.
Dave graduated from Leto High School in 1983, in Tampa, FL and then went on to start his commercial IT business. He had many loyal clients that became close friends.
Dave loved to joke around (sometimes inappropriately) and spend time with friends. He was passionate about sports, movies, music, and politics. He was forever loyal to Donald Trump, the Dallas Cowboys, the Lightning, Ford (NASCAR), and best of all… Budweiser. He shared his love of music as a DJ for many years. He especially loved 80’s jams, country, and rock music, of which he would frequently quiz his friends. He was always ready to plan a party and loved to put up elaborate decorations for any occasion (especially Halloween).
A big part of his life was enjoying the outdoors, grilling, four-wheeling, and camping with friends and his daughter. He was a proud father and would talk about his daughter, Gabriella, to everyone he met. She was a constant source of love and support.
Dave would always be the first one to pick up the tab for dinner or drinks, whether he could afford it or not. Even though he was stubborn at times, his big heart and generosity always shined through in the end. So, the next time you’re out with friends, buy someone a drink or pick up the tab to keep Dave’s memory alive. The memories of Dave will remain in the hearts of many forever.

Dave was a wonderful person and a better friend. He was kind enough to give my Sammy her first job. I will miss our conversations. I can also attest that he loved his Halloween decorations.

David was my cousin and I always looked forward to seeing him and the family when they visited. My favorite memory was when I was invited to stay a week with them. We were children at the time, and had so much fun together! I am so grateful that we had that time together. He will be forever missed.
