Paul James Henning, age 67, left us with very heavy hearts on Monday, July 7, 2025. He was born on July 25, 1957, in Rochester, New York.

He is survived by his sons, Christopher and Brian (Melissa), stepdaughter, Jennifer and stepson, Charlie, granddaughters, Kinslee, Journey, Brittany, Hannah and Shawntae, grandsons Jay and Tony. He is also survived by his mother, Marvel and his brothers, Earl (Marguerite) Alan (Karen) Adam (Nadine) Glen (Susan), sisters, Irene, MaryLou ( Mike), many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by two very special young men, Marc Castillo and Ramone Morales, who he loved like they were his sons. Also, a very special friend, Giny. And his precious cat, Goldie.

Paul was predeceased by his father, Earl, his wife Patty, his sister Nancy, granddaughter Maleigha, and grandson Brody.

Paul’s passion was cooking! He spent most of his career as a Certified Chef through the American Culinary Foundation. On May 9th, 2006, he had the honor of cooking for President George W. Bush at the Club Renaissance in Sun City Center. Cooking for others is what brought him joy. And he was really good at it! He loved spending time with his family and friends. He relaxed with a cigar and some smooth jazz.

We will miss and remember his hugs, his laughter, his amazing cooking, and his love. We love you Paul. Rest easy and find your peace.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family will provide details once arrangements are confirmed.

We were brothers, if trouble found one of us, it found both of us. We never had an argument and always had each other’s back. I wish we hadn’t drifted apart in recent years, but geography and time will do.that. Love you always little brother.

Oh Paulie! I just can’t believe that you are not here anymore. I feel so lost knowing that I can’t call you. I wanted to help you get to a better place. I really didn’t realize how everything was effecting you. I’m so sorry. I will miss you every day. Know how much I loved you. Rest easy and find your peace
