Dewayne Allen Haines
November 11, 1970 – May 1, 2025

Dewayne Allen Haines, 54, passed away and gained his angel wings on May 1st, 2025 in Harrisonville, Missouri. He was born in Rockville, Maryland on November 11, 1970. Dewayne spent the majority of his life living in the city he loved so much, Tampa, Florida and considered himself a Tampa native.

Dewayne was the life of the party, with a bold, vibrant and fun personality that brought joy and laughs into any room he walked into. He was always full of love and humor, packed with funny phrases, outlandish punchlines, signature dance moves and clever jokes, accompanied by his infectious laugh and kind heart.

He loved Rock n’ Roll, The Dallas Cowboys and Nascar; Dale Earnhardt Jr. being his favorite driver.

Dewayne was a very proud Father and is survived by his children: Amanda Haines, Anthony Haines, Victoria Haines and Marilynn Haines. His memory also lives on through his Brothers: Joey Mullinix, Robert Mullinix, and Wayne Haines, as well as, his Father: Claude Mullinix and other loving family members.

He was preceded to Heaven by his Mother, Melinda Mullinix.

A Celebration of Dewayne’s Life will be held on Saturday, August 30th from 2pm-4:30pm at:

All family and friends are welcome to join in honoring him. As Dewayne would have wanted, please dress casually in jeans and in t-shirts of one of his favorite bands or other things that he loved.

Florida law states “A cremation may not be performed until a legally authorized person gives written authorization for such cremation,” (FS 497.607).  Furthermore, the law defines whom the “legally authorized person” is and sets up the order of priority of next of kin. We require a written authorization before scheduling any cremation or funeral services.
