COBB, James E.

James E Cobb, 80, of Zephrhills, Florida, formally Mannsville, New York, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024, after a long illness.

Jimmy was born in Adams Center, June 22, 1944, to the late Scott and Ethel (Johnson) Cobb. He attended school in Mannsville.

Jimmy was a hard worker. He worked in the foundry at Crouse-Hinds in Syracuse for the majority of his working career.

Jimmy loved his children more than life itself. He was a very supportive father, always providing everything he could for his children.

Jimmy took great pride in the welcoming pavilion he built at his Mannsville home for family and friends to gather. He loved to entertain and was always up for a great cookout! Dad also loved dancing, keep on dancing up there for us!

Surviving are his daughters Tracy Perry (Daniel) and Wendy Barlow. Grandchildren MacKenzie, Joseph, Jordan, Brandon, Austin, James, Ethan, Isabelle and Lily. Step children Tracy Chambers, Tammy Eveleigh (Mark), Todd Stinson (Anne). Longtime friend Jeanette Morey. Siblings Jerry Cobb (Anita), Garry Cobb and Judy Hazelton (Steve). He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins and great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Jimmy is predeceased by his son, Joseph Cobb, and brothers, Lawrence Cobb and Scotty Cobb

A spring burial is planned at Maplewood Cemetery.

Dad, we’re going to miss you so much! Give Joey our love. We’re sure you are so happy to see Sheba again!
